October 24, 2024 (New York, NY) — Asian Wave Alliance (AWA) has announced its endorsements for the 2024 general election, focusing on critical Congressional, State Senate, and Assembly races. As part of AWA’s commitment to educating voters, the organization conducted deliberations over various candidates and issued its recommendations for key districts that will impact the Asian community and the broader New York City electorate.
This year, AWA closely examined the races in New York’s 3rd, 6th, and 11th Congressional Districts, as well as several State Senate and Assembly districts with a significant Asian Population. “We believe that these candidates best represent the values and priorities of our community,” said Yi Fang Chen, First Vice President of Asian Wave Alliance. “Each of these candidates has shown dedication to making our neighborhoods safer, more prosperous, and a better place to live.”
